July 2nd dawned fair for Capel fête. A procession of floats made their way to the recreation ground where a marquee had been set up for the Gardeners' Society and stalls had been erected around the field.
Aquinoe Learning Centre had a stall selling bags, aprons, tabards, earrings and cards. The biggest attractions, though, were the tombola (for adults) and lucky dip (for children).
We made £56.50 in total for the charity.
