We are very sad about the deaths of two of the pupils at Aquinoe during 2007.

Erick Wambulwa was six years old and was diagnosed with a condition known as microcephally, an unusually small head and underdeveloped brain. The physiotherapist had done much work with Erick to help encourage both speech and motor development. After suffering from respiratory problems, he died in September.

Leah Nabifwa was eight years old and had fused fingers and toes and a cleft lip. She was a bright little girl with two younger sisters, whose mother worked at the school. She was tragically knocked down by a car on her way to school, not far from the gate and died on the spot.
