The Aquinoe Learning Centre obtains funding through a variety of sources.
- Regular financial donations
- One-off financial donations
- Donations received in lieu of birthday/Christmas presents
- Donations at dinner parties in lieu of bottles of wine etc.
- Sponsorship for individual pupils
- Running stalls at bootfairs
- Holding quizzes
Some supporters like their donations to go towards improving facilities at the school. Others prefer to sponsor particular pupils. Some donate regularly, while others give a sum every now and again. In addition to financial assistance, we have received donations of items for bootfairs and also raffle prizes for the quiz evening. Everything that is given, whatever the method or frequency, is very much appreciated by the trustees. Without substantial aid from our supporters, we would have achieved very little.
Be a Sponsor
If you wish to help by giving in any way, please feel free to make a donation via PayPal using the button on the left, get in contact, or download the forms on this page. The Sponsorship Form below may be used to make a single donation or give a regular amount; to contribute generally, sponsor an orphan or sponsor a specific child. If you would like to sponsor a child, but feel you do not wish to commit to the full amount, feel free to donate just a part of the cost, as indicated on the sponsorship form.

If you are a U.K. tax payer, please consider completing a Gift Aid form. This will enable the ALC to reclaim the basic rate tax on your donation. It means that every £10 you give is worth £12.50 to the ALC. In the financial year 2009-2010, we have reclaimed £1,982.13 from HM Revenue and Customs.
You can now fill the form in quickly and easily online. Please have a payment reference ready, such as a cheque number or PayPal Confirmation Number, to help us reconcile your donation more easily.

Should you decide to donate regularly to the ALC, you may wish to think about making out a Standing Order Instruction for your bank. It will save you remembering to make out cheques at the appropriate time, and is useful for the trustees as we can budget more easily.
