Saturday 9th May dawned fine for the first bootfair of the year.
As usual we had to be up early to arrive at the Five Oak Green venue at 07:30. Our pitch was in quite a good location and, although the crowds did not flock in, there was a steady flow of people at our stall. Takings altogether were £140.71, a very satisfying total.
For the last few months Linda and Jean have gratefully been accepting many donations of clothes, electrical goods, crockery, jewellery, books, CDs, toys and an assortment of bric-a-brac from friends. This included a tin of one and two penny coins, which added another £11.29 to the total.
Linda, Jean and Chris in selling mode
We had so many items that we could not squeeze them all into our vehicles so still have many “new” items to offer for sale at the next bootfair on 13th June.
