On Saturday 6th June eighteen intrepid walkers attempted the walk from Eastbourne to Brighton in support of Aquinoe Learning Centre. Conditions were excellent, and the views out to sea as we crossed the hills around Beachy Head were superb. The walkers were a lively bunch, with interesting conversation and the odd sing song to while away the fourteen miles we walked to Seaford before hopping on a train to our final destination.
We enjoyed a packed lunch en route and rewarded our achievements with fish and chips on Brighton beach. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful day and for raising a ripe one hundred big ones for ALC.
This was the second annual walk in aid of Aquinoe and we hope to see everyone again next year!
