School acquires more computers

The charity Computers for Africa has very kindly allowed the trustees of ACL to buy more computers for the Aquinoe Learning Centre at extremely low prices.

Ross Cockburn of Computers for Africa rebuilds second hand computers from the UK and organises shipments to a variety of African countries, including Kenya. The equipment is sent in containers to Mombasa and then by road to Nairobi. This time, transport of the computers up to Kitale was also arranged.

When the computers arrived at the school, the staff and pupils were delighted to find that they had modern, flat screens. The computers will soon be operational.

Photographs coming soon from Adrian.
