An early start to the day as Jean and Dave were due to meet Linda and Chris at 06:30 so they could arrive at Mabledon at the same time and set up the usual double pitch.
The forecasters had predicted a sunny day with warm temperatures but, in fact, it was quite cool in the morning, necessitating jackets/cardigans. It was breezy too, and one of the clothes racks fell down on several occasions.
The good news, though, was that we made our second highest total, £182 altogether, mostly in takings for goods, with a little more donated in the charity box.

Evidence of a cool day
We had a large notice board and a folder with to display photos of the school, in which several people showed a lot of interest.
Biggest sales were in the book, CD and DVD departments.
Many thanks to everybody who donated a huge array of items for us to sell.
