ALC has been extremely lucky and received another cheque from a Cambridge College, this time Trinity Hall. The donation was again through Southern Africa Fund for Education. http://www.cusafe.org.uk/
The money will be used to furnish the dormitory which is currently being built for the youngest children. The building is nearly complete, so this donation is very welcome. The Director will now be able to purchase:
- Beds
- Curtains
- Mosquito nets
- Tiles for the floor
The tiles are expensive to start withbut in the end are well worthwhile as successive repairs to the floor will be unnecessary.
