The days leading up to the bootfair were rainy, windy and a little cool, so we were relieved to wake up to sun shining from a blue sky. The good weather brought out many people and the ALC was able to raise £152 throughout the afternoon.
Dave was working and, after helping to set up the stalls, Chris had to attend an appointment. We were lucky that Barbara and her granddaughter Cara had come with us, so there was no shortage of helpers and we’re very grateful for their assistance.
Trade was brisk and the most popular items were CDs, DVDs, jewellery and bric-a-brac.
Many thanks to all who donated the items we had for sale.
