There was huge excitement at Aquinoe today as fifteen large boxes of books, weighing five hundred and thirty five kilograms, arrived. 
These were sent by ship from the U.K. in May by the charity Books Abroad as part of a much larger shipment to Kenya. The trustees of the ALC, in addition to pupils and staff at the school are extremely grateful for this huge donation.
This will add considerably to the stock of books at the school and will be welcomed by the librarian, Lucas. The task of cataloguing the books will be a challenge, but he will relish this.
