The Resource Centre has been used by staff and pupils for a year, although some of the plumbing was not complete.
The building was officially opened as part of the welcome tour during the trustees’ visit in May and is now known as the Linda Resource Centre.

We saw the staff and pupils in action during the school day:
– the occupational therapist’s sessions with the five children with the most serious disabilities
– play therapy with some of the younger children
– small group sessions with basic number work
– small group work with basic general concepts

The original plan was for eleven rooms within the centre but the practicality of the situation became apparent at the time of building. Although the overall dimensions of the building remain the same, the number of rooms was reduced and six larger rooms were created.
