Tina was privileged to be invited to give a talk to the Crieff 50 Plus Group on Wednesday 6th October.
She was warmly introduced by acting-Chair Malcolm Selkirk, and spoke for about forty five minutes showing photos of how the Aquinoe Learning Centre looked in 2004, and the many changes that have been made since through the generosity of our many supporters. She also showed some video clips from the Trustees’ visit in May 2010, which really brought alive the sounds of the enthusiastic pupils at the school.
After the talk, Tina sold some of her hand-made goods (bags, scarves, aprons and tabards). The event raised £150 through sales and donations. A big thank you to all those who contributed.
Tina would like to thank the Crieff 50 Plus Group, especially Margaret & Dave Sloan, and Malcolm Selkirk for their help in making this a successful presentation, and for giving her the opportunity to explain the work of the Aquinoe Learning Centre in this part of Scotland.
