Beri (the son of one of our trustees) was asked to paint a picture for a friend’s birthday present.
Since she had a particular fondness for a view in Cape Town, Beri set out to paint this view every day at 7.00 am (during five separate sittings) in order to capture the light that bathes late summer Cape Town mornings in white, misty, atmospheric cloud in a slightly post impressionist style. It was received with joy by his friend.
Beri received a commission to paint the picture and he has donated the £60 received to Aquinoe.
All the trustees are truly grateful for this wonderful gift.
