The last indoor bootfair raised the highest total of the season – an excellent £103.10.
We were lucky enough to have a good array of goods for sale as loads of items had been donated in the last six weeks. Apart from the usual clothes, books, DVDs, CDs and kitchen equipment, we had shelves, cushions, robot dogs, games, jigsaws and a mass of Doctor Who paraphenalia.
As the stall holders opposite us were packing up, they donated four new extra-large calculators – very generous – one of which we’ve sold already. Many thanks to them and also to all of the other people who donated goods to us.
