The trustees have made contact with a Sheffield-based charity that collects out-of-date football shirts from a variety of clubs, from Manchester United to grass roots village teams.
The charity is Afrikit, http://www.afrikit.co.uk which was started by some students at the University of Sheffield. A friend returned from a field trip to Kenya telling stories of the poverty he had witnessed and the passion of the locals for football.
The trustees of Afrikit have kindly agreed to supply the Aquinoe Learning Centre with football shirts for the pupils. We are now looking for ways of transporting the shirts from the U.K. to Kitale.
