The first outdoor bootfair of the season was at Mabledon Farm in Tonbridge and raised £146. It was lovely that trustee Tina, who was visiting from Scotland, was able to join us and help with setting up the stalls and selling the goods.
We decided to take three tables, instead of the usual two and had plenty of goods to display on them, all donated by friends and supporters.
The weather was fine and the field was packed with both sellers and buyers, including a teacher at the Meadow School in Southborough who invited us along to a bootfair being held in a few weeks in aid of their Kenyan project.
