Now the cooler October mornings are here, we decided to return to the slightly more comfortable surroundings of the Capel Community Centre for an “indoor” bootfair.
We were given a good position in the hall and had a lot of “new” items for sale, donated by kind friends, including toys, games, jewellery, DVDs, CDs, books and bric-a-brac.
We were delighted to raise £100 and are expecting a little more later from extra sales.
Paul, the organiser, (see photo below) also raises money for charity (Help for Heroes) through the “rent” charged for the pitches.
