We are indebted to Carol for suggesting that guests make a donation towards the Aquinoe Learning Centre instead of giving presents.
She (and her twin sister Aileen) held a party in Crieff on Saturday 9th January to celebrate their 60th Birthdays. Ceilidh band “On The Wagon”, a very popular Scottish group, played all evening, and called various dances energetically enjoyed by all.
Sustenance was provided by haggis, neeps and tatties, and a plentiful supply of all types of drink.
A board with photos and information about Aquinoe was provided by Tina, who happily answered questions about the school and charity. We are very grateful to all those who donated over £700, which will be used towards a solar power system, installation of which will commence later in January 2016.
A very big thank you to all those who contributed in so many ways to make this party such a success.
