Just five months into Ndanu Brown’s arrival significant positive changes have already come about, including, most visibly, the newly painted entrance to the school and a sign promoting Aquinoe by the junction with the main road.
Being on hand at school, Ndanu is able to keep track of things on a day-to-day basis and has made such a difference trustees have appointed her as business manager, reflecting her added responsibilities.
A major task is promoting the school which is in need of new pupils, hence the new signage and painting. Among other things, flyers have been given out locally as part of the longer term strategy.

Jean’s sister and fellow trustee Tina says: “Wow, that looks fantastic.”
Ndanu, 28, started in June and works with school director Josphat Shaduma, secretary Rachel and board chair, Lilyan helping solve issues as well as increasing school numbers.
